The Tub (Truck)

Well into my 60's I had this great idea that I would move, mostly by myself with very little help, from Nevada to New York State. I Had the Idea that along the way I would come across a lot of interesting pictures to take.
But life, as it usually does, throws a monkey wrench into ideas. 1) I was by myself. 2) Uhaul will only give you a certain amount of days to travel from A to B as well as only a certain mount of miles to get to your destination. So, the idea of of making side trips, even small ones was out, also a lot of times by the time you saw something interesting by the side of the road it was too late to stop and making a 20 mile detour just to go back was out.
Still, I managed to get some interesting shots of things I came across.

Below is my not so beloved "tub", it rattles, it shakes, it picks up every pebble on the road, it's uncomfortable, the radio was staticky (or maybe it was the nearby radio stations), it eats more gas than a 1960's Caddy, the "Gentle Ride" logo on it is a bold faced lie, you'd be more comfortable riding in a bulldozer. The only good thing was the A/C.
